Tony is an experienced digital transformation leader with a global background across the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe. With a career spanning oil & gas and food manufacturing, he has led large-scale digitalization initiatives focused on automation, data-driven decision-making, and operational efficiency. Having lived and worked in multiple countries, Tony brings a broad international perspective and a strong ability to navigate complex organizational environments. Today, he oversees digitalization for food factories in Norway, driving security , efficient production and innovation through IoT, integrated systems and AI.
This presentation will showcase how Orkla Foods, a company of more than 5000 employees and 35 factories in 10+ countries, is working to use the Purdue Model and IEC 62443 to secure factories, in order to enable safe digitalisation and AI adoption. We will share our vision for future-ready factories, the business case for robust OT security, and some of the practical steps we have taken to pursue the Purdue Model and IEC 62443 standards.
