Anniken Hole

Senior Manager - PwC Cyber Security

Anniken has extensive experience in information security, operational risk, third-party risk management, data governance and privacy, and helps organisations strengthen governance and make sound decisions in complex environments with high security and risk requirements.

Prior to joining PwC, she led the program related to third party security risk management at Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM). Her experience includes building capabilities across security, risk and governance, spanning processes, technology, contractual requirements and supply chain dependencies. She brings a strong perspective on how third-party risk, governance and organisational complexity shape resilience, investigations and decision-making in the context of cyber incidents.

Cyber forensics is changing. Evidence increasingly resides in the cloud, SaaS platforms, identity systems and third-party environments, while incidents are becoming more complex and the pressure to provide quick answers continues to grow.

This presentation explores the emerging challenges in cyber forensics and what the C‑suite, boards and security leaders need to understand before the next incident. How do we preserve the right evidence? How long should an investigation continue? And how should organisations manage uncertainty, insider risk, third-party dependencies and the growing cost of forensic investigations?

The session focuses on the strategic and practical decisions that determine whether an organisation is able to establish what really happened—before evidence disappears and the investigation is closed too soon.
