Namrah Azam is a cybersecurity consultant at Gritera, where she helps organizations understand, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents, as well as strengthen their overall security posture.

She has a background in cyber threat intelligence and digital forensics, with experience supporting complex investigations and analyzing advanced threats. In addition to her consulting work, she teaches forensics in cyber operations and supervises master’s students at the University of Oslo, contributing to the development of the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.

Cloud environments are changing how digital forensic investigations are conducted. Investigators no longer have physical access to systems and must rely on provider logs, APIs, and distributed data sources across multiple borders. This session provides an introduction to cloud forensics, and a practical overview of the key challenges in cloud forensics, including the best practices for conducting investigations in cloud environments such as Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure.

We will examine challenges related to evidence acquisition, data volatility, limited visibility, multi-tenancy, and jurisdictional considerations. The session will also highlight best practices for forensics process and building forensic readiness in cloud environments.
