Alex Delamotte

Senior Threat Researcher

Alex Delamotte is a Senior Threat Researcher with the Sentinel Labs team who is based in France. Alex’s passion for cybersecurity is humbly rooted in the early aughts when she declared a vendetta against a computer worm. During her 15-year career, she has worked across many infosec domains, from AppSec to Threat Hunting. Alex has presented research at Defcon’s Cloud Village, HushCon, LABScon, and SLEUTHCON, where she presented on cloud threats and AI-enabled malware. In her spare time, Alex can be found DJing and supporting the arts.

Since 2023, the rapid adoption of Large Language Models (LLMs) has sparked a new wave of cyber attacks. By tracking these threats from their origin to today, we can see a clear and concerning evolution.

Early AI threats relied on "jailbreaks" to trick providers into generating malicious code. By 2024 and 2025, attackers began embedding AI logic directly into their tools—asking the LLM to write and execute code on the fly the moment a victim’s machine is infected. And in 2026? We are seeing AI take the driver's seat: making autonomous decisions about a target system and executing attacks without any human interaction.

This talk breaks down the timeline of AI-enabled attacks and provides an outlook for what organizations should expect next. We will explore how attackers are moving from asking for code to deploying autonomous agents—and, most importantly, how we can use these same tools to defend ourselves.

This session is designed for all technical levels. Whether you are a CISO, a developer, or curious about the intersection of cybersecurity & AI, join us to see what’s really happening behind the screen.
